Membership
Tradition Football will always be a free site to come and find a great sim community, but we have found the requirements to facilitate, police and create a home like this are demanding and in order to deliver the best experience online that you can get, we need find the real DEDICATED guys who are willing to put some skin in the game.
You can purchase a subscription in the control panel of your forum account.
A Tradition Subscription will look like this.

Membership levels will be as follows.
Free: No Cost Membership
1. Access to post in the general forums.
2. Access to join Tradition Football supported non-premier level leagues.
3. Private messaging inbox 50 message limit
12 Months: $12 – Must renew yearly
1. Access to 1 premier league spot per software title based on availabilty(IE: one NCAA spot, one Madden spot etc..)
2. Access to the premier level forums.
3. Access to participate in Tradition Football Tournaments held during launch week.
4. Custom league signature for your premier league teams
5. Tradition Ranking system access (Will discuss this in detail in another post)
6. Blog access for any of your premiere league teams.
7. Image hosting (unlimited for now)
8. Increase in private messaging inbox to 200 messages.
9. Profile Awards (ie: the trophy’s and such under your forum name)
Lifetime Member: $50 – One time fee
1. Access to multiple premier league spots per software title..(IE: multiple NCAA spots, multiple Madden spots..etc.)
2. Access to the premier level forums.

NOTE: Please understand, if your interested in a lifetime membership, we have to review your history/activity here at Tradition Football. We don’t take lifetime membership lightly and we want to make sure that it’s a good fit, so we may deny your request and ask that you go yearly until we get a better feel for the type of addition you will be to the community. Please don’t get offended by this, it’s a main aspect of keeping our core values tied in with the community we are building.
Now some of you have already reached the lifetime membership level… if you currently have the donator award, you are a life time Foundation Member already, thank you for your generosity.
Some of you have already donated generously, but not yet to the Lifetime member level. If you intersted in applying that donation towards your lifetime membership, i will do that for current TF league members if you make up the difference between your previous donation and the Lifetime Membership Fee.
Also, if you’ve donated $10 or more dollars to TF, consider your first year membership on the house and gratitude for your giving when you didn’t have to. Any other questions around your donation/membership status i will be happy to answer on and individual basis.
We will have a sponsorship forum for individuals who can’t afford the $12 for the year, where other TF members can sponser these guys for the year by paying thier membership. I would expect that sponsorships would be given based on that persons history and activity at Tradtion Football. Please don’t be offended if nobody sponsors you… this is a should be used as a last ditch effort to help those who are extremely financially challenged.
Also, commish’s of Premier Leagues will have there membership fee’s waved for as long as they are in good standing and their league is in compliance with Premier requirements during the year.
We are working on an official “Terms of Service” document that will basically outline the additional benefits and expectations of Premier members.
Due to the rush of applications and new members we get in June/July.. we want to have a large part of our premier membership in place well before then and will start taking subscripiton applications now if you know for sure this is something you want to be a part of. All memberships purchased prior to June 1st will be good through 6/1/2011, so there is no penalty for getting paid up now. You will be allowed access to help beta test the Tradition Football Ranking System before we take it live for the 2011 games. Deadline for an assured Premier spot for 2011 is 1/15/2010, after that spots will be open to new members
This will also go a long ways in determining which of the current leagues (both NCAA and Madden) will be earmarked for Premier status for the ’11 version of the games. Leagues will have to apply and all members will have to be premier level members to be able to play in the league.
League applications will be reviewed based on current membership, leadership and activity in the forums.
The additional benefits for a league to go Premier (over and above the individual access) would be the following…
1. Your league will be included on the front page of the new website.
2. You (or anyone you deem responsible for your league) will have access to post league news updates directly to the homepage.
3. You will have access to premier level members for recruiting purposes.
4. You will get league wide custom sigs.
5. Your forums will be limited to viewing by premier league members only.. no public access to your stuff if that’s the setup you desire.
6. Your league will be able to participate in the Tradition Football Rankings system. (IMO the biggest reason to do it.)
7. Access to chatbox starting 7/10/2010
If you are currently in a Tradition Football league of any type, it is not going away… we will still provide forums and general support to leagues for our non-subscription members. There is no required fee for you to have your league hosted here.
There will be a limit to our ability to help police, administer or enhance these non suscriber leagues, but they will have the same level of functionality that you see now.
